Golden Gate Highlands National Park, located in South Africa’s Free State, is known for its striking sandstone cliffs that glow beautiful warm shades of gold during sunset.This grassland landscape is home to a variety of wildlife and birdlife.

In our Golden Gate poster, a small pond sits in the foreground, where two red-billed teals drift lazily across the water.  A Pin-Tailed Whydah is perched in the bull rushes, while zebra graze quietly in the distance and enjoy the warmth of the sun at golden hour in Golden Gate. Of course the main feature of this poster has to be Brandwag Buttress, more commonly known as Sentinel Rock, the most recognisable feature of the park.
